PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor memory device capable of securing a stable read operation by increasing the gain of data eye in high frequency operation, and also reducing current consumption. SOLUTION: The semiconductor memory device is provided with an output circuit outputting data synchronizing with an input of a clock, and a data eye control unit controlling data eye of an output of the output unit. Also, a driving method of the semiconductor memory device includes a step for outputting a DLL clock in which an internal clock is delay-locked, a step for controlling data eye if data, and a step for outputting the data synchronizing with the input of the DLL clock.
