PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce current consumption when switching current consumption according to an operation mode. SOLUTION: A regulator circuit is provided with: an error amplifier circuit 10 having a first mode and a second mode operating based on a current value which is smaller than the first mode; a supply current generation circuit 12 for outputting a first current in the first mode, and for outputting a second current in the second mode; a control circuit 13 for controlling the supply current generation circuit 12 so that a current to be supplied to the error amplifier circuit 10 is larger than the second current in a transition period from the first mode to the second mode; an output transistor 11 having a control terminal connected to the output of the error amplifier circuit 10; and a voltage division circuit 14 (or 15) for feeding back divided voltage obtained by dividing output voltage output from an output terminal REGC by a plurality of serially connected resistor, to the error amplifier circuit 10.
