An electric power tool (100, Fig 1) comprises a housing 110, a drive motor 180 and a device 120 for selecting the rotational direction of the motor 180. The device 120 comprises an actuator 130, which is accessible from outside the housing 110, for mechanical actuation of a switch 230 for at least electrical switching over between first and second rotation directions of the motor 180. The switch 230 is arranged within the housing 110 in the region of the actuator 130, and may be received within the actuator 130. The receiving part 232 of the actuator 130 may cause switching over on actuation of the actuator 130. The Switch 230 may comprise a slide 234, which is arranged within the receiving part 232, and which may be detachably fastened to a mount 255. Mount 255 may comprise two projections 252, 254, between which the slide 234 may be arranged. Tool (100) may comprise a hand switch 195 with an abutment element 280 for stopping movement of a blocking member 258 on the actuator 130 during operation of the tool (100) in order to prevent damage to the motor 180. |
