PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motion guide mechanism improving accuracy by fitting and fixing a rail ensuring high straight accuracy to a frame by simple adjusting work, and saving on cost. SOLUTION: The linear motion guide mechanism comprises a rolling element 1, and a guide device 9 composed of: the rail 6 rolling or rotating while contacting with the rolling element 1; and the frame 8 fitted and fixed with the rail 6. The guide device 9 is composed of one frame 8, and two short rails 6a, 6b divided in a longitudinal direction to continue and fitted and fixed in a groove 8b of the frame 8.
