A method of manufacturing an electrical device comprising: providing a flat, plastically-deformable circuit board 32; then mounting one or more electrical components 34 on the flat circuit board 32 and electrically connecting the component(s) 34 in a circuit; then plastically deforming the circuit board 32 so that it is no longer flat, and such that the component(s) 34 remain(s) mounted on the circuit board 32 and electrically connected in the circuit. The component(s) 32 are preferably LEDs. Mounting the electrical components on the circuit board while it is flat simplifies manufacture, and then deforming the circuit board enables complex shapes to be produced. |
