<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for assisting fastening of a seat belt of simple structure, which can be easily incorporated onto a car body, and will leave nothing exposed as an obstacle. <P>SOLUTION: A belt guide pin 30 is provided to project from a side surface cover 14 sideways. An actuator is installed inside the side surface cover 14 to move the belt guide pin 30 forward and rearward. A belt stopper 42 is provided at a rear part of the side surface cover 14 to project sideways. In an initial state, the belt guide pin 30 is right before a belt stopper 42 to be positioned at a rear part of the seat belt 16. As a seating switch is put on, the belt guide pin 30 moves forward to guide a seat belt 16 forward. When the belt guide pin 30 reaches a forward position to pull the seat belt 16 in a fastening direction, the seat belt 16 comes off the belt guide pin 30. As a buckle switch turns on, the belt guide pin 30 returns to the position right before the belt stopper 42 to be positioned at the rear part of the seat belt 16 again. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
