PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detection sensor detecting accurately a liquid level just after application of a voltage to a heater layer. SOLUTION: This liquid level detection sensor has a constitution provided with a dividing means 45 for detecting a middle point electric potential between a liquid level detection resistance layer 27 and the first liquid temperature detection resistance layer 31 by the first output electrode 24, also detecting a middle point electric potential between a gas temperature detection resistance layer 32 and the second liquid temperature detection resistance layer 33 by the second output electrode 25, and dividing each output signal from the first output electrode 24 and the second output electrode 25.
