PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling machine capable of quickly performing inspection and improving efficiency of producing containers. SOLUTION: The filling machine includes a charging pipe 52 charging contents supplied from a content supply source via a conveyance system into a container, a magnetization device 81 arranged adjacent to a bottom part of the container, magnetizing a foreign substance made of metal, supplied via the charging pipe 52, and mixed into the contents so that the foreign substance exhibits magnetism, and a magnetic sensor 83 arranged adjacent to the bottom part of the container and detecting the foreign substance exhibiting the magnetism in the contents. The magnetization device 81 and the magnetic sensor 83 are arranged in the vicinity of a discharge part. In this case, because the magnetization device 81 and the magnetic sensor 83 are arranged in the vicinity of the discharge part, the inspection about whether the foreign substance is mixed in the contents is quickly performed.
