PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconductivity bearing obtaining a high levitation force by employing an axial bearing arrangement comprising a superconductor and a magnet placed opposite to each other in the axial direction. SOLUTION: In a superconductivity bearing of an axial type comprising the superconductor and the magnet placed opposite to each other in the axial direction, the superconductor constituting the superconductive bearing has two or more single crystal-like domains inside it, and the individual single crystal domains in the superconductor each have the c-axis oriented in the axial direction of the bearing.
