PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting whose warping can be surely prevented and in which a mounting groove for a decorative molding can be accurately formed. SOLUTION: The fitting, on the surface of which a decorative mold A is mounted, comprises a frame body 2 having vertical and horizontal frame materials 2a, 2b assembled together, a reinforcing core material 3 provided between the horizontal frame materials 2b, and surface materials 7 pasted to the faces of both the frame body 2 and the reinforcing core material 3. The reinforcing core material 3 consists of a metal core material body 4, and a cover material 5 (6) covering the core material body 4. The surface material 7 has a cut-off formed deep to allow the mounting groove 7a for the decorative mold A to range from the surface of the surface material 7 to the cover material 5 (6). Thus, the frame body and the surface material which the reinforcing core material contacts are reinforced by the core material body, and the mounting groove is formed in the reinforcing core material without conventionally cutting off the core material body.
