The unit (10) has a cover element (20) i.e. injection molded part, covering a base element (12) i.e. printed circuit board, and enabling optical detection of an LED (13), in a coverage region. A plate-shaped bottom element (18) i.e. heat sink, is arranged on a side of the base element, where the side lies opposite to the cover element. The base, the cover and the bottom elements comprise a surface area and are connected together as a unit. The cover element has a circumferential edge, so that the cover element has a cap shape. The cover element is made of transparent plastic. |
