The method involves providing a radio communication between radio stations (1, 2), and replacing radio signals in radio channels in form of time slots. A quality of the radio communication is determined from received signals in one of the radio stations. Commands for adjusting transmission power are transmitted from the one of the radio stations to another radio station over a radio channel when no information is transmitted for the latter radio station in one or more consecutive time slots. An independent claim is also included for a radio station with a receiving device. |
