<p>The device for treating ballast water with aqueous acrolein solution, comprises a pressure rising pump to pump the water by a water jet pump, a reaction container in the form of a closed box (K), an electro motor controlled by frequency converter, and a control device. The closed reaction container exhibits an eccentrically arranged turbine agitator (T), separate inlet openings fixed externally for acrolein acetal, acid and hydrolysis water, and an outside cooling jacket. The electro motor serves as a drive for the pressure-rising pump. The box is completely filled with fluid. The ratio of the width of the box to the diameter of the turbine agitator is 3 and the ratio of the diameter of the turbine agitator to the ground interval is 1. The eccentricity of an agitating shaft (S) is 0.1-0.2 times the length of the box. The inlet opening for the hydrolysis water of the annular gap between the agitating shaft and the opening for the agitating shaft, is in the box cover. The control device carries out through measurement of pressure difference of the ballast water from the pressure rising pump and set-value/real-value comparison from the device and delivers the control signal to the frequency converter of the pressure rising pump.</p> |
