An environmentally-friendly mortar finishing material is provided to improve the incombustibleness and emit far infrared rays useful to the human body by using mineral such as illite and elvan. An environmentally-friendly mortar finishing material contains, based on the weight, illite 45~67%, elvan 23~32%, charcoal or carbon 0.2~0.5%, fiber reinforcement 0.2~0.5%, wheat flour or glue 3.6~10%, and water 6~12%. The mortar finishing material is mixed additional water of 30~50 weight% and then put or sprayed on the wall surface with brush or spray gun.
