PURPOSE: A security bar sensor system, a method thereof, and a play machine operating system are provided, which can sense locked state of a security bar for protecting passengers. CONSTITUTION: A security bar sensor system comprises: a fixing member which fixes the location of a target to a chair equipped in a play machine and supports the body portion to a chair; a switch mode switching process part(110) which processes mode switching of a switch according to the location of the fixing member; and a play machine operation decision unit(120) which decides the operation of the play machine according to the process result.
