FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to orthopaedic stomatology and can be applied for determining adaptation to various prosthesis constructions in orthopaedic treatment of patients with atrophy of alveolar processes, defects of upper and lower jaws, hard and soft palate, complete and partial adentia. Patients by means of chart-questionnaire, supplied in description, subjectively, using three-point scale, assess following criteria: prosthesis outlook from esthetic point of view, chewing and speaking functions, pain sensations and prosthesis fixation during chewing, temperature perception and taste sensations during food intake, nausea occurrence and vomiturition, biting cheeks while chewing, salivation, feeling of lips outpouching, feeling of discomfort without prosthesis, and using five-point scale assess general way they feel and emotional mood after tooth replacement. Adaptation to orthopaedic constructions is determined by formula: , where W - value characterising patient's adaptation to prosthesis, expressed in percent, Vgen - sum of points of criteria of patient's adaptation to prostheses, k - coefficient of general way patient feels and emotional mood after tooth replacement, 195 - maximal number of points which characterises full patient's adaptation to prostheses. ^ EFFECT: increase of reliability of assessment of acquired tolerance, adaptation of patient to orthopaedic construction, obtaining objective criteria of adaptation degree. ^ 6 tbl, 3 ex |
