<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce internal resistance in a coin-shaped all solid battery, to improve active material utilization ratio of the battery, and to reduce variations in charge/discharge characteristics of the battery. <P>SOLUTION: The coin-shaped all solid battery comprises: a power generating element made up of a first electrode, a second electrode, and a solid electrolyte 23 interposed between these electrodes; a metallic case 25 facing toward the first electrode and also functioning as a first electrode terminal; a metallic sealing plate 26 facing toward the second electrode and also functioning as a second electrode terminal; a gasket 27 for insulating the metallic case from the metallic sealing plate; and at least one of: a first conductive layer 24a interposed between the first electrode and the metallic case and integrated with the first electrode; and a second conductive layer 24b interposed between the second electrode and the sealing plate and integrated with the second electrode.
