DEMOUNTABLE ENDOPROSTHESIS OF METACARPOPHALANGEAL JOINT

A demountable endoprosthesis of the metacarpophalangeal joint has been proposed. The metacarpal component is made of the metal. The phalangeal component is polymeric. The blocking elements are designed as the closed system of the wedge-shaped teeth engaged externally. The teeth are placed in the closed circle of the rod generatrices spaced by each third of the circle. The bases of the elements of metacarpophalangeal joint with convex and recessed surfaces are inclined to the axis of the rods at the angles of 27°-30° and 13°-17° respectively.
