PURPOSE: A multi encoder for a broadcast is provided to support two video rules and two output types, thereby realizing easy use and management of the encoder. CONSTITUTION: Two switches(116,118) transfers video data and audio data of a video source to the first and second codec cores(122,132) and the first and second audio encoders(126,136). The first and second codec cores convert the video data. The first and second acoustic encoder converts the audio data. The first and second output units(128,138) outputs output data of the first and second codec cores in a DVBASITS(Digital Video Broadcasting-Asynchronous Serial Interface Transport Stream) type or an H.264 IP.
