<p>The present invention relates to toner compositions comprising a resin and a colorant. The colorant used in the toner compositions includes a modified pigment comprising a pigment having attached at least one organic group having the formula -X-A, wherein X, which is directly attached to the pigment, represents an arylene or heteroarylene group, or an alkylene group, and A represents a non-polymeric group comprising at least one carboxylic acid group derivative having less than or equal to 16 carbon atoms. Processes for preparing toner compositions are also described.</p> |
