EARTH RETAINING WALL AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth retaining wall capable of extending an installation interval between soldier piles and reducing an installation depth thereof.SOLUTION: An earth retaining wall constructed to support the ground surrounding an excavated space while excavating the ground, comprises: a plurality of soldier piles 10 installed in the ground; and a plurality of earth retaining bodies 20 which are arranged between the neighboring soldier piles 10 and support the ground surrounding the excavated space. The earth retaining body 20 has: a connection structure 21 which connects the neighboring soldier piles 10 to each other; and a plurality of sandbags 22 piled up on the connection structure 21. The earth retaining wall is adapted to support the ground surrounding the excavated space mainly with the plurality of sandbags 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
