PRESTRESSED STEEL PIPE WITH STEEL REINFORCEMENT AND PREFLEXION

PURPOSE: A pre-stressed steel pipe with preflexion and steel plate reinforcement is provided to reduce material waste by only increasing the flexural rigidity of a required part. CONSTITUTION: A pre-stressed steel pipe with preflexion and steel plate reinforcement is composed as follows. A reinforcing steel plate(11) is integrally attached on the outer surface of a steel pipe(10) in order to cover the tensile outer surface of the steel pipe. A bending load, which leads flexural displacement of the steel pipe, is eliminated, and the steel pipe is restored in an original shape. Compressive stress is applied to the tensile outer surface of the steel pipe in order to improve flexural tensile strength.
