PURPOSE: A mesoporous nickel-alumina composite catalyst, a preparation method thereof and a production method of hydrogen gas by steam reforming of liquefied natural gas using the catalyst are provided to reduce fabrication cost thereof by adopting a single process in the fabrication of hydrogen gas. CONSTITUTION: A mesoporous nickel-alumina composite catalyst is fabricated by performing heat treatment for nickel and aluminum precursors of which the atomic ratio of nickel/aluminum is 0.01-1. The method for preparing the catalyst comprises the steps of: forming micelle by dissolving a block copolymer in an alcohol solution; dissolving aluminum precursor solution to the solution including the nickel precursor; obtaining a nickel-aluminum mixture gel by hydrating the aluminum and nickel precursors by adding diluted water to an alcohol; cleaning and drying the nickel-aluminum mixture gel after an aging operation; and performing the heat-treatment operation at 500-900°C. |
