PURPOSE: A vehicle headlight control device and a control method thereof are provided to guide a safety operation by controlling brightness according to the adjacent brightness. CONSTITUTION: An illuminance sensor(10) measures the adjacent brightness. A selection switch(20) automatically controls the on/off state of a headlight. A vehicle speed sensor(30) measures the velocity of a vehicle. A control part(40) turns on and off the headlight by controlling the brightness of the headlight according to the state of the selection switch. A display part(60) indicates the operating state of the control part.
