SEISMIC CONTROL HAUNCH

PURPOSE: An earthquake-resistant haunch for a reinforced concrete structure is provided to prevent a reinforced concrete structure from rapidly collapsing even if an unexpected earthquake is occurred. CONSTITUTION: An earthquake-resistant haunch for a reinforced concrete structure comprises an upper plate(10), a side plate(20), a first compression link(30), a second compression link(40), and a tension link(50). The side plate is vertically installed in one end of the upper plate. One end of the first and second compression links are inclinedly hinged on the side plate. The other end of the second compression link is hinged on the other end of the first compression link. One end of the tension link is inclinedly hinged on the upper plate, and the other end is hinged on the other ends of the first and second compression links.
