PURPOSE: A positioning apparatus and a positioning method thereof are provided to obtain the position information of a moving object using the automatic navigation function. CONSTITUTION: A GPS receiving antenna(13) and a GPS receiver(14) receive the data from a GPS satellite. A three-axis earth magnet sensor(15) and a three-axis acceleration sensor(16) are automatic navigation sensor. An automatic navigation control processor(20) implements the coordinate calculation of the automatic navigation based on the measured data of the automatic navigation sensor. |
