PURPOSE: A mobile internet service system and a method for operating the same are provided to promptly display a certain portion of a desirable website of a user on a screen of a mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(210) displays a website through a browser, and a designation unit(220) designates the region selected from the website as a designation region according to a key operation. The designation unit creates designation region information for the designated region, and a service unit(230) transfers the designation region information to a service server. The service unit receives an image file corresponding to the designation region from the service server.
