The present invention relates to a radiation shielding material. Since a radiation shielding material including a lead component has been conventionally used, there are limitations in harmfulness to a human body and weightiness. According to the present invention, an airtight container for transporting and storing radiation or radioactivity waste or a construction material for shielding a radiation can be manufactured by mixing a red clay and an elvan into water, stirring the mixture to mold the mixture into a shielding body having a desired shape, heating and burning the shielding body, and attaching a carbon fiber to an outer surface of the shielding body and applying a lacquer on the carbon fiber. A shielding material can be manufactured by mixing a red clay and an elvan into water, stirring the mixture, and stacking the mixture on a carbon fiber to manufacture a multi-structure, forming a surface layer as a carbon fiber layer, and forming a lacquer coating layer. A wall of a shielding structure can be manufactured by applying a mixture of a red clay and an elvan on both surfaces of a concrete layer to form a first shielding layer and applying a lacquer on a carbon layer to form a second shielding layer. |
