The present invention provides a liquid container capable of preventing the deterioration of connection between a liquid delivery portion and a liquid supply portion due to an increase in the size of the liquid container and preventing the leakage of liquid from the liquid delivery portion. A liquid container includes: a container body 5 that is detachably mounted to a cartridge mounting portion and supplies ink stored in an ink pack 7 to an ink jet printing apparatus; a connection port 7a that is provided in the ink pack 7 and delivers the ink; a liquid delivery portion 9 which is provided in a front wall 5c of the container body 5 and through which the connection port 7a communicates with a liquid supply portion provided in the cartridge mounting portion; and two positioning holes 27 and 28 into which two positioning pins that are provided on the cartridge mounting portion at positions facing the front wall 5c are fitted, thereby regulating the movement of the container body along the front wall 5c. The liquid delivery portion 9 is provided close to the positioning hole 27 of the two positioning holes 27 and 28 formed at both sides of the front wall 5c in the width direction thereof. |
