PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for cleaning pork are provided, which can enhance work efficiency by allowing the automatic cleaning of pork. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for cleaning pork comprises: a transport unit(10) transferring a plurality of trolleys; a cleaning unit(30) which sprays high pressure cleaning water to pork when the pork passes through a predetermined spot; a plurality of sensors(50) which are installed in one side of the cleaning unit at an interval and sense transfer position of the trolley; and a controller which successively and automatically controls the cleaning unit by being provided with a sensing signal from the sensor.
