The tool has a tube (7) comprising outer receiving bearings (8, 9) for receiving corresponding contact tulips (10, 11), and made of metal. Internal recesses (12, 13) engage the tube around a central core of a high power male socket. Each recess has depth corresponding to a position of a receiving groove of the corresponding tulip. A sliding sleeve (14) is displaced around the tube for ejecting the tulip from the corresponding bearing of the tube in the groove, during mounting of the tulip. The sleeve is made of plastic material.
