The compactor has an ejection unit for ejection of compacted cans and/or bottles to a lower part of a compactor body. A protected door allows recovery of the compacted cans and/or bottles after filling the body at end of recycle. A transmission system comprises a rotary drive shaft (6) fixed to a handling arm (5) to represent a tilting axis of the arm, where the drive shaft extends to an internal part of the body. One of primary ends of transmission rods (10) is articulated around the drive shaft, where secondary ends of the rods are articulated on a push-rod forming piston (4).
