PURPOSE: A method for preparing an organic acid composition which is able to remove green algae and diatom is provided to minimize harmfulness to human body and environment. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing an organic acid composition which is able to remove green algae comprises: a step 1 of stirring acetic acid(99%) and monochloroacetic acid powder to obtain acetic acid composition of light brown; a step 2 of mixing distillated water and hydrogen peroxide(35%) and adding citric acid to quantitate hydrogen peroxide composition; a step 3 of dissolving citric acid in a solution of step 1 to obtain acetic acid composition containing acetic acid, monochloroacetic acid and citric acid; and a step 4 of mixing the acetic acid composition of step 1 with hydrogen peroxide composition of step 2 and stirring for 1 hour.
