PURPOSE: A keeping case of an arc welding rod for guiding arc generation is provided to stably generate initial arc and to maintain the dried state of an arc welding rod. CONSTITUTION: A keeping case of an arc welding rod for guiding arc generation is composed of a case(10), a receiving unit(5) for a magnetic force generation body, iron(4), welding rods(3), a drawing groove(7a), and a drawing guider(7). The top of the case is opened in a coffin shape. The receiving unit is integrally formed in the bottom of the case. The iron is formed inside the case and is attached on the front ends of the welding rods. The size of the iron is 0.1~3mm.
