The device has a bonnet (4) mounted around a part of a blade (2) of a circular saw (1) from outside during use of the saw and a suction nozzle (B). Partitions (11) are provided in the bonnet and partition an internal volume of the bonnet so as to guide particles suctioned towards the nozzle. The bonnet includes side openings of an air inlet. The side openings are constituted by slots (13, 14) that are located on a lower part of side walls (7, 8) of the bonnet. An inlet of the suction nozzle is located at an interior of the bonnet or on an upper part infront of the bonnet.
