<p>PURPOSE: Recording liquid is provided to enable proper discharging without predischarging and pause discharging during a printing process and to prepare good quality prints. CONSTITUTION: Recording liquid includes less than 70-90 mass % water, glycerol, coloring agent, and a compound with a hydroxy group in an amount satisfying 0.25<Y<S60÷2500. The compound is a solid at a room temperature and under atmospheric pressure and satisfies Q_20 < -10 and S_60 - S_20 > 10, wherein, Q_20 shows dissolution heat (KJ / mol unit) of water at 20°C under 10^3 hPa.</p> |
