PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which when a set value of a setting is changed, can notify a user of a change in power consumption caused by the changing of the set value.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal television 100 includes a display unit 15 which displays contents, an OSD unit which generates an OSD signal, a ROM which stores the set value of the setting and power consumption information corresponding to the set value of the setting, and a CPU which calculates power consumption based on the power consumption information when the set value of the setting is changed. The OSD unit, when the set value of the setting is changed, displays current power consumption P1 over the video of the contents, on the display unit 15. |
