摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase accuracy of estimating vehicle moving amount without directly analyzing changes in vehicle characteristics.SOLUTION: A path computation part 12 calculates a curvature ρv of a trajectory of a running vehicle from wheel speeds detected by wheel speed sensors 21, and calculates a curvature ρst from a front wheel steering angle δ detected by a steering angle sensor 28. The path computation part 12 next evaluates the reliability of the calculated curvatures ρv and ρst, and determines a curvature in short time according to the evaluation. The path computation part 12 then estimates the position of the vehicle from a determined moving amount in a predetermined section.
