PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal processing method without missing terminal processing for signal transmission terminals at a final stage in a signal transmission system.SOLUTION: In the automatic terminal processing method, a CPU 2a determines whether or not to receive an acknowledge signal from the following stage for a request signal which is transmitted to the following stage through a communication interface 2b in PLC modules 21 and 22 that are signal transmission terminals at each stage. If determining that the acknowledge signal is not received, the CPU 2a determines the device itself as a final stage signal transmission terminal. In addition, when the CPU 2a determines that the device itself is in the final stage, an FPGA automatically generates a resistance for terminal processing, and then a signal output part to the following stage in the device itself is connected to a ground line using the generated resistance and terminal processing is performed to prevent data signal reflection. |
