PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide type mobile telephone that makes scars occurring on the surface of cabinets hardly visible with little change in outer appearance.SOLUTION: In the slide type mobile telephone, an operation part 4 is disposed on the surface of a first cabinet 1, while a liquid crystal display part 5 is disposed on the surface of a second cabinet 2. At a closed position at which both cabinets 1, 2 are closed, the operation part 4 is covered by the second cabinet, and at an open position at which both cabinets 1 and 2 are open, the entire body of the operation part 4 is exposed. At least part of the operation part 4 consists of a resin-made sheet key 41. On both sides of the sheet key 41, a pair of right and left resin-made edges 42, 42 extending in the sliding direction are formed integrally with the sheet key 41. On the rear surface of the second cabinet 2, a pair of projections are formed at the positions opposite to the pair of edges 42, 42. The surface of the pair of edges 42, 42 is grain finished. |
