PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system configured to prevent processing load from being concentrated on a specific device in a network.SOLUTION: An information processing system includes a plurality of switches SWs connected in a tree form, a node connected to one of the switches SWs, and a management device. The node transmits an allocation request to the management device. The management device determines whether an identifier can be allocated to the node, on the basis of the received allocation request, and transmits a response including an identifier to be allocated to the node when the identifier can be allocated to the node. A first SW of the above SWs for relaying the allocation request and the response configures settings for relaying a packet to the node, on the basis of information on a logical link having received the allocation request and the identifier included in the response, and transmits a setting request including the information on logical link having received the allocation request and the identifier included in the response, to other SWs belonging to a first domain where the first SW belongs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
