PURPOSE: A method for producing an organic-inorganic compound complex is provided to efficiently prepare the organic-inorganic compound complex using beta-glucans derived from fungi and silica. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing an organic-inorganic compound complex comprises a step of preparing organic-inorganic compound complex through beta-glucans derived from fungi and silica. Use of the organic-inorganic compound complex is also provided.
