PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device that can make chromaticity uniform against change in angle from a center axis without changing the thickness (section thickness) of a color conversion member nor a phosphor concentration as the angle from the center axis changes.SOLUTION: The light emitting device has the color conversion member 3, containing a phosphor, arranged covering a blue LED 2 arranged on a substrate 1, and the color conversion member 3 is provided with a phosphor absence part 5 in a region wherein the angle from the center axis of a blue LED 2 which is an axis perpendicular to a surface of the substrate 1 is constant, the region being present only at an angle such that luminance from the blue LED is equal to or larger than the double of maximum luminance. |
