PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily test a wireless receiver, related to a wireless receiving apparatus, and a test method thereof.SOLUTION: A wireless receiving apparatus and a test method thereof comprise: a directional coupler connected to an antenna; a test signal generator including a PN code generating circuit for generating a PN code, a D-A converter for converting the generated PN code into a test signal that is a spread spectrum signal, and a switch for guiding the test signal to the directional coupler; a receiver including a PN code demodulator for measuring a forward S/N of the test signal input via the directional coupler and passed through the same route as a main signal input from the antenna; and a controller for discriminating whether or not the measured forward S/N is within a first predetermined range. Furthermore, a reflected S/N of the test signal input via the directional coupler reflected by the antenna and passed through the same route as the main signal input from the antenna is further measured and it is discriminated whether or not a VSWR of the antenna determined from the measured forward S/N and reflected S/N is within a second predetermined range. |
