PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical switching system which enhances wavelength multiplex density and reduces noise light.SOLUTION: The optical switching system includes: a table part 100 configured to generate frequency-polarization information; a transmission part 200 configured to generate and multiplex a plurality of first optical signals having wavelengths different from one another and whose polarization directions are respectively controlled, as a transmission signal, based on the frequency-polarization information received from the table part; and a switching part 300 configured to, using the frequency-polarization information from the table, divide the plurality of first optical signals from the transmission signal transmitted from the transmission part so as to be transmitted to any of a plurality of output paths. |
