PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for forming optical recording layer, which exhibits excellent recording performance even if, for example, raising heat resistance and glass transition temperature of an optical recording medium without spoiling reliability of an optical recording medium; and to provide the medium using and this composition.SOLUTION: The composition for forming optical recording layer comprises: a three dimensional crosslinking resin matrix-forming component; a following compound A; an optical activity compound; and a photopolymerization initiator. The compound A is a compound having a molecular weight of 300 or more or a number-average molecular weight of 300 or more, and having a three dimensional crosslinking resin matrix and one only reactable functional group. |
