PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce possibility that e-mail is transmitted to a transmission destination except a transmission destination intended by a transmitter of the e-mail.SOLUTION: This e-mail erroneous transmission prevention device preventing that e-mail received by a mail server is transmitted to the transmission destination except the transmission destination intended by the transmitter includes: a storage part associating and storing an e-mail address and an opposite party name of the transmission destination previously registered by the transmitter, and storing a character string specifying a position wherein the opposite party name of the transmission destination is described in a mail body; an extraction part extracting a mail address of the transmission destination set in the e-mail, and extracting an opposite party name of the transmission destination from the position specified by the character string when the character string is included in the mail body; an address decision part deciding whether or not the extracted e-mail address of the transmission destination accords with the e-mail address stored correspondingly to the extracted opposite party name of the transmission destination; and a transmission instruction part instructing the mail server about the transmission of the mail when a decision result indicates the accordance.
