PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method etc., for treating hypoxia.SOLUTION: The method for identifying a prolylhydroxylase regulatory factor involves the following processes: (a) a process of bringing prolylhydroxylase, an expected prolylhydroxylase regulatory factor and a light-generating fusion protein into contact with each other, wherein the light-generating fusion protein comprises an HIFα polypeptide moiety having a bonding property to prolylhydroxylase and a light-generating polypeptide moiety, where photogeneration at the light-generating peptide moiety changes upon bonding of prolylhydroxylase to the HIFα polypeptide moiety under the advantageous conditions of bonding prolylhydroxylase to HIFα, forming a specimen; and (b) a process of determining ability of the expected prolylhydroxylase regulatory factor to regulate prolylhydroxylase, by measuring light generated in the specimen. |
