PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid combine harvester including a dual power source, i.e. an engine and an electric motor, wherein the electric motor generates electricity by an independent energy source rather than by being driven by the engine.SOLUTION: The hybrid combine harvester is such that: the underside of a travel frame 4 is equipped with a travel gear 6; and on the travel frame 4, there are provided an internal combustion engine 1, a reaping apparatus 16 for reaping planted standing grain culms in the farm, a threshing apparatus 10 for threshing grain culms thus reaped, a grain tank 8 for temporarily reserving threshed grains following separating and retrieving them, and a grain-unloading auger 9 for unloading grains reserved in the grain tank 8 out of the machine. The hybrid combine harvester also includes: a converter 29 functioning to convert, into electric energy, the energy in operating the driving systems installed in the respective apparatuses; a capacitor 24 for storing the electric power obtained by the converter 29; and a dynamo motor 2 outputting the stored electric energy in the capacitor 24; and in addition, an engine-assisting function utilizing the output of the dynamo motor 2 as auxiliary energy for the respective apparatuses to be operated by the internal combustion engine 1. |
