FIELD: personal use and household items.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to operating a laundry dryer having a rotatable drum for accommodating clothes to be dried, and device for circulating drying air through the drum, the method includes the steps of performing a drying cycle selected by a user, wherein the drying cycle comprises predetermined drum movements over time depending on the cycle selected, detecting value indicative of the temperature of drying air exiting the drum, based on said detected values, determining that the clothes inside the drum are in tangling conditions and starting an untangling operation to untie the clothes inside the drum, wherein the untangling operation includes the modification of the predetermined drum, and this modification comprises at least one of the following: stopping the drum rotation, reversing the drum rotation, modifying the drum rotation speed, at the end of the untangling operation either resuming of predetermined drum movements, associated with the drying cycle that was running before the starting the untangling operation, or performing drum movements over time different from the predetermined drum movements associated with the drying cycle which was running before the sart of the untangling operation.EFFECT: method for operating a laundry dryer.36 cl, 8 dwg |
